That's a quote from the
website John Edwards endorses suggesting ten things you can do as "patriots" this Memorial Day week-end to help "end this war".
"Buy a bunch of poster-board and markers. At a picnic or with family and
friends, make signs that say “SUPPORT THE TROOPS - END THE WAR.” Bring
them to your local Memorial Day parade."
Ok, there are a few good suggestions along with all this end this war talk, but the message is loud and clear.
Disrupt the traditional honoring of our fallen soldiers of ALL previous wars with signs and banners, marches and neighborhood walks with "end this war" blather. Everyone of our National Holidays is being highjacked by a bunch of radical zealots intent on destroying the traditional Jewish-Christian culture of America.

On another related note. The NY Times has an article confessing to "Strife Foreseen in Iraq Exit, but..." Don't you just love those buts? "Bush wins election, but..." "Economy expands, but...."
"There is one matter on which American military commanders, many Iraqis
and some of the Bush administration’s staunchest Congressional critics
agree: if the United States withdrew its forces from Baghdad’s streets
this fall, the murder and mayhem would increase." Then comes the but....the Experts split over the degree of the increase of violence.
Experts? The sanctimonious
NY Times consider themselves the "Experts" at determining the what.
