Were you aware that former president Bill Clinton was lined up to give at least three college graduation speeches this spring, and to share a speech timetable with former president George H. Bush? it would be exciting to have the FORMER president give your graduation ceremony speech, after all, you only graduate from college once, and you want it to be a very memorable event. You expect to be inspired. Lots of pictures. Bye byes to the many friends you've made. Bye byes to the endless hours of late night studies and writing the termpapers to meet deadlines. It's over. It's over. All done and time to get on with life. Let the next phase begin.
But if you were one of those that graduated from San Fransisco State and expected an inspiring speech, you were denied that part, but you sure got a ceremony that was memorable.
