It’s that time of year again folks when the family goes to beaches, parks, swim pools and all of those summer fun stuff places. You see the mommies rubbing down their kiddies with sun screen. The graceful ladies rubbing the stuff all over the exposed skin after each dip in the pool, and the men following suit as the wives insist. “I don’t want you to get skin cancer!”
We’re scarred of that evil sun shinning too hard on that tender skin with all that extra UV light that may possibly cause a skin cancer or warts, or whatever. The suns brightness is brighter and more damaging than ever before because it’s shinning through that ozone hole. It’s a bit confusing to me though, as that hole is over Minnesota, Dayton Beach, The French Riviera, The Baltic Sea, Sydney, Australia, Honolulu and San Diego all at the same time of the day. It’s only when you want to go to the beach. Greenland, Alaska and the South Pole too. What a hole that is!
And now the experts are warning that kids as young as three should be wearing UV blocker sunglasses. Yep. Kids as young as three. It’s new research. The experts have said so.
“
Children's eyes are more vulnerable to damage from the sun than adults' eyes because the cornea, lens and fluids are clearer, allowing more light to reach the retina.” These experts are saying that our creator forgot something in the design process.
"It's vital that we educate parents about the dangers of the sun. We have to make it clear that sunglasses aren't just a fashion accessory. They really do protect us from damaging our eyes." He added: "It's never too early to wear sunglasses, but I would say that children should be wearing them from the age of three." There’s more to this stuff
here.
What a boon to the sun glass makers. Hey gals, get your fashion UV glasses for your three year old, but you really should not forget the younger brother, the 18 monther. There has already been sun glasses for the kiddies on the racks in the stores, but it was because of market demand. This is because of expert demands that soon will become expected because the experts have spoken and then, the local TV commentators will be airing the 20 second stories of the warnings of the experts before each and every holiday and warm week-end scarring the daylights out of you, all to the delight of Wal-Mart, Target, Macy’s and Dollar General.
And after a while, it is accepted as fact, and then the society monitors will be eye-balling you if you do not fit your three year old with UV sunglasses, as they frown upon you now about the sun screen tubes. And it gives the TV commentators and local politicians something to get high horsey about.
Did the creator not foresee an ozone hole developing?
