No longer Incomprehensible Immigration reform.

If you’ve been one of those fence sitters about immigration and what to do about it, then there is an article that you need to read.   Kevin James has taken the time to get beyond the talking points and into the details and lays it out for our amazement.  Once you get an understanding of what this comprehensive bill entails, S 1348, you will no longer be on that fence, but wholly against this thing that was created behind closed doors, that even Bush and a few turn coat republicans are favoring.

But first off to another point.    A few years ago, this would not have happened. A few years ago, the public would not have been able to download the contents of the bill, read it and analyze it at your sweet time, and then write about it in this new media that is available today for millions to read.  Our ability to do that is driving the liberals crazy. They don’t like it one bit.   It infringes on their ability to pass legislation without the public really knowing much about it   But now we can go onto the Thomas (Library of congress) website and read an entire bill, the amendments, who the sponsors are and what actions have been taken while sitting at home, or in the office, or with your lap top hooked up at a Starbucks sipping a freshly brewed exotic coffee blend.  We can do that.  Just average day in, day out,  run of the mill citizens can read things like this for ourselves.

Just think back to the days when the EPA was created in 1970 and what the people were told and knew about the legislation that would create The Environmental Agenct..   I don’t remember much, but you can surely guess what we were told.   It was to protect the environment for dangerous pesticides like DDT, to keep our drinking water safe, to prevent people from the toxic elements of dangerous chemicals and etc. And now, the agency is intrusive and regulatory into every aspect of our lives. Acid rain. Asbestos, protecting the Beaches, The Clean Air and Water Act, Climate Change, Hazardous Waste, Lead, Mercury, Mold, Oil spills, Ozone, Pesticides, Radon, Recycling, Superfund, Wetlands, and more…

Hardly anything can be done without first contacting the EPA for approval. They just need to know that you are not endangering the environment in any way. Farmers have been denied having irrigation for their crops, because it may disturb the “wetlands”.  The media is encourgaging people to have their homes tested for radon, and if you sell an older home, it will get inspected for asbestos and mold and the likes.  It's everywhere.

We cannot let a new agency be created to handle the massive paperwork and regulations necessary to deal with the illegal aliens transitioning to citizenship. That’s a nice sounding phrase. Transitioning to citizenship. As if the majority of the illegal aliens really want to go through that long process, heavy fines and a trip back home and all that stuff so that they can transition to citizenship.

Read Kevin James and his article   “How big will the new agency be?”   Kevin makes it comprehensible.
