"In the words of our enemies". Muslims and Global Warming.

As the Live earth concerts are circling the globe today using up and wasting energy as if they were opponents of controlling energy, I just got to thinking a bit and a few questions came to mind.  What kind of example are these rock stars as they jet back and forth across the globe?  Just how much trash will have to be picked up, removed from the stadiums and concert sites and then taken to land fills for disposal causing more industrial waste and future environmental concerns later on down the road?

The waste is just astounding.  But, it’s all for a very good cause.  Humans must stop polluting or there will be very few humans left to mow the yards of the very wealthy environmentalists.  Silly thought.  Another very serious question arose.  How do the Muslims view the current climate of thought about global climate change?

First of all, this one caught my attention.  A LEADING Muslim cleric has blamed the devastating drought, climate change and pollution on Australians’ lack of faith in Allah.”  News.com.au

“Climate Change is possibly the biggest threat to life on our planet. Indeed it should be of special concern to Muslims since most of the effects will be felt in Muslim world.”  Impact of climate change on the Muslim world.  November 2006

“Climate change is overwhelming the situation in Africa…unless we take genuine steps now to reduce our emissions, people in the developed world will be condemning millions to hunger, starvation and death.”   …one of the challenges faced by humanity is to decide “How to design a new model for human progress and development that is climate proof…and gives everyone a fair share of the natural resources on which we all depend.”   The Muslim News  Jan 2007

“…developing countries like most of our Muslim countries, particularly the least developed, are generally poorest in this regard. As a result, they have lesser capacity to adapt and are more vulnerable to climate change damages.”  Sala@m.UK  July 2007

“In the face of this, I look forward to how the government is going to brace people to having to double their life insurance payments, in order to save the planet. Existing problems with oil and gas supply (ie limited supplies and interminable instability) can only add further to the costs of energy into the 21st century. What can the government say to prepare people for this inevitability? I’ve already seen David Miliband, the environment secretary, on Newsnight talking about setting a level of taxation on households that is “fair”, and that shows them that businesses are also feeling the pinch.”   A Muslim Think-Tank.  November 2006

These links are only a few and the articles have been quite interesting and there is a trend being formed not only in the Muslim community, but we also see the same trend in the western community of leaders.

Mow this is as I see it.  First of all, global warming and climate change is the fault of the Western industrial revolution.  Muslims were not responsible for that.

Two:  Global climate change will affect the undeveloped world the most, which just happens to be predominately Muslim.

Three: The western Industrial world should pay for it through new taxation initiatives on each and every citizen.

Four:  A new model of government, social life and control of industrialization is needed throughout the world to bring all human activity in line toward all humans living closer to a balanced life in harmony with nature.

Sounds all wonderful and idyllic.

I wonder if their thoughts are that the only way of achieving this is under sharia law?

A brand new book is out that should be required reading of all western diplomats and interested parties, those of us who prefer the freedoms of the western world.    "In the Words of our Enemies"  by Jeff Babbin    Available at Amazon for $16.47

We did not listen to Hitler when he started to mobilize the Germans into a super duper master race.  And we are not now listening to the Islamics about a super duper master religion.

H. Clinton: an evangelical?

Why is it that I have a very difficult time accepting this?

"Clinton Dwells on Faith as a Central Part of Her Life"

Headline in the New York Times.

"In the interview and a subsequent telephone conversation, she described her spiritual habits — she carries a Bible on her campaign travels, reads commentaries on Scripture and other people’s “faith journeys“ and spoke of experiencing “the presence of the Holy Spirit on many occasions.“

Gore Rock Stars...who cares what we think...

The group Artic Monkeys were snubbed by Gore as one of the “chosen” to be featured at one of the Live earth concerts.  Could it be because they are honest, and have not been patronizing to Gore and bunch in order to appear on one of the seven, whoops, six concerts on the 7th.  Rio De Janero pulled out for security reasons, but Al is hoping for a change of mind.  Yep, a judge ruled the show must go on,  but Istanbul dropped out last month for lack of interest.

Rock group Arctic Monkeys have become the latest music industry stars to question whether the performers taking part in Live Earth on Saturday are suitable climate change activists.

"It's a bit patronising for us 21 year olds to try to start to change the world," said Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, explaining why the group is not on the bill at any of Al Gore's charity concerts.

"Especially when we're using enough power for 10 houses just for (stage) lighting. It'd be a bit hypocritical," he told AFP in an interview before a concert in Paris.

Bass player Nick O'Malley chimes in: "And we're always jetting off on aeroplanes!"

Roger Daltrey, singer from 1970s British rock band The Who, told British newspaper The Sun in May that "the last thing the planet needs is a rock concert."

Do you think any of these comments will appear on the major networks?  It would be a great place to put a commercial starring these guys and their comments right in the middle of a break during NBC’s 75 hours of televised Gore pandering.  Oh, If I had the money.  It would be right in line with the wannabe again Fairness Doctrine, so who could object?

Independence Day..... a personal story.

I’ve been getting the ill feeling that most Americans are disconnected from what independence means, what it has meant to these United States, and therefore to all Americans as citizens of this great land.  Independence, dependence, or bondage.

"Imagine that one day, your relatives and friends can no longer come and visit because of a wall that was constructed almost overnight without much warning. You own a business and one day none of your workers show up, they are locked behind a wall, or if they attempted to cross the yet constructed wall, they would have been shot by one of the many communist soldiers guarding the line as workers were building the brand new wall of separation."

Michael Glatze, homosexual no more.

Another story of the impossible. I say impossible, because the gay rights movement has been very successful in convincing the medical psychiatric community and the media that homosexuals can’t help themselves, it is a genetic malfunction. If it’s genetic and they can’t help it, then it’s a hopeless cause, as not one will ever be able to change their stripes. Right? Wrong.

Michael Glatze is the latest to come out. “Michael Glatze had become a frequent media source as founding editor of Young Gay America magazine, [snip] has received numerous awards and recognition, including the National Role Model Award from the major homosexual-rights organization Equality Forum. Media gravitated toward him, leading to appearances on PBS television and MSNBC and quotes in a cover story in Time magazine called "The Battle Over Gay Teens."

And now he is free and wants to tell the world. he writes in his WND column today, "'coming out' from under the influence of the homosexual mindset was the most liberating, beautiful and astonishing thing I've ever experienced in my entire life."

Now he speaks plain and direct calling homosexual sex purely "lust-based," meaning it can never fully satisfy. "It's a neurotic process rather than a natural, normal one," he writes. "Normal is normal – and has been called normal for a reason."

“I believe that all people, intrinsically, know the truth. I believe that is why Christianity scares people so much. It reminds them of their conscience, which we all possess.

Will any of the elite mainstream press core now feature Michael on a nationally televised investigative report of theirs? David Letterman. The View. Oprah. Don’t hold your breath. Will any of the psychiatric associations call and want a new interview with Michael? Don’t expect it. Will our school administrators call Michael and request he come and talk to the student body? You know the answer to that too.

It’s a sad world when truth looks you in the eye, and you look away to the familiar. “And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Congratulations Michael.

Reactions by democrats to the Libby sentence commute.

Well, it did not take long for the big names of the liberals to find a microphone and express their well thought out disbelief that president Bush had actually done such a dastardly thing, to let a criminal go free, one that broke one of the most sacred of American laws: lying under oath.  It could be said another way also. It did not take long for the mainstream media to line these democrats up against the walls of the hallowed halls of congress and solicit a comment from these high ranking members of congress, because the American people have the right to know what their representatives are thinking.    Especially when it comes to perceived bad news about Bush.

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald “Libby was sentenced under the same laws as other criminals.”

Barrack Obama: “This is exactly the kind of politics we must change.”

Dick Durbin: No one in this administration should be above the law."

Patrick Leahy: "Accountability has been in short supply in the Bush administration, and this commutation fits that pattern."

John Edwards: "Only a president clinically incapable of understanding that mistakes have consequences could take the action he did today”

Harry Reid: “…using that power to benefit his own vice president's chief of staff who was convicted of such a serious violation of law."

Hillary Clinton: “…this administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice."

Nancy Pelosi: “By his action today, the president shows his word is not to be believed."

Joe Biden: - “I call for all Americans to flood the White House with phone calls tomorrow expressing their outrage over this blatant disregard for the rule of law."

John Kerry: “…makes a mockery of the justice system and betrays the idea that all Americans are expected to be held accountable for their actions”

Chris Dodd: “the president continues to abdicate responsibility for the actions of his administration.”

Bill Richardson: "The arrogance of this administration's disdain for the law and its belief it operates
 with impunity are breathtaking”

And finally.  An old statement from former President Bill Clinton about his pardons in Feb 2001.

"Because of the intense scrutiny and criticism of the pardons of Marc Rich and his partner Pincus Green and because legitimate concerns have been raised, I want to explain what I did and why."
"A president may conclude a pardon or commutation is warranted for several reasons: the desire to restore full citizenship rights, including voting, to people who have served their sentences and lived within the law since; a belief that a sentence was excessive or unjust; personal circumstances that warrant compassion; or other unique circumstances."
You can read it all here.

Do we really want and/or need politicians who have such short memories?   Do we want a press that panders to these short memoried people?   And the government educated American people said,  Yes.

Remember last year, an illegal immigrant took refuge in a church in Chicago to avoid deportation, well, she has been busy as a bee in this church forming a political action group, and is wielding some influence among Hispanics and the LaRaza group. The latest. She don’t like the outcome of the immigration bill. Within hours of the defeat of the Senate bill, she announced a campaign of resistance against the US government.

“Arellano, the leader of the movement Familia Unida (United Family)who has remained in a Northwest Side church since August 15 to avoid an order of deportation, said this would be the deadline the government will have to "revive and pass a comprehensive immigration reform.”
“Otherwise, pro-immigrant organizers will begin a campaign “aimed at bringing this government and this economy to a halt.”
LaRaza…..

Why is this lady still in the country?   Yes, it would look bad, the publicity would be bad, it would send the wrong message to both Americans and Hispanics, to have ICE raid a church, arrest the alien and deport her immediately.   Raiding a church of all things.  Well yes there would be a tremendous outcry.  So there she sits, computer and all, meals, probably a nice room and an indoor walking track in the sanctuary when it’s not being used.

And the people of the church are allowing this to continue.   That is the second tragedy. Sometimes the church gets confused between compassion and righteousness.   The church ought to call ICE and say: come and get Elvira. She is now threatening the US government and as a church, we cannot let her continue this crusade while inside this building, so come and get her.

Another tragedy is that Noe Aleman, a border Patrol agent for 12 years was sent to prison for a typo on some immigration documents for his wifes’ three nieces that he was trying to adopt.   If I remember right he put down the wrong age of one of the nieces. And this he is going to jail for.  Falsifying federal documents.

This Elvira Arellano hispanic activist is sitting in a church, as a sanctuary, playing with the organ and threatening to bring this government to a halt.

Do you smell something fishy?

Libby sparred from prison

Just in.  WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush spared former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby from a 2 1/2-year prison term on Monday, issuing an order that commutes his sentence.

There will be more coming along as it is released.

The official statement from the President.

"This case has generated significant commentary and debate. Critics of the investigation have argued that a special counsel should not have been appointed, nor should the investigation have been pursued after the Justice Department learned who leaked Ms. Plame's name to columnist Robert Novak. Furthermore, the critics point out that neither Mr. Libby nor anyone else has been charged with violating the Intelligence Identities Protection Act or the Espionage Act, which were the original subjects of the investigation. Finally, critics say the punishment does not fit the crime: Mr. Libby was a first-time offender with years of exceptional public service and was handed a harsh sentence based in part on allegations never presented to the jury."

"My decision to commute his prison sentence leaves in place a harsh punishment for Mr. Libby. The reputation he gained through his years of public service and professional work in the legal community is forever damaged. His wife and young children have also suffered immensely. He will remain on probation. The significant fines imposed by the judge will remain in effect. The consequences of his felony conviction on his former life as a lawyer, public servant, and private citizen will be long-lasting."

So, when will you pardon Libby?

Chertoff: we cannot enforce immigration laws.

The head of Homeland Security admits they cannot enforce immigration laws. "We don't really have the ability to enforce the law with respect to illegal work in this country in a way that's truly effective." Michael Chertoff has said. Even a fence is not effective, he says, and went on to say that they dig tunnels under fences. A 200 foot long was discovered last week with openings in a vacant home in Nogales, AZ and in an apartment on the other side in Nogales Mexico. 200 feet long. "I think we're going to say to the members of Congress who think they have a better way that they should produce legislation and pass legislation, which they have not done for the past two years," he said.

Congress did pass legislation authorizing the Homeland Security department to build 700 miles of fencing, and it has been reported that only 13 miles of that fence has been built.   I suppose the next excuse would be that while they are building the fence, tunnels are being constructed under those fences as fast as they go up.   How could they find all those tunnels?    Or, as soon as a section is finished, the illegals just walk around the ends while the construction company goes home for the night.   How can that be enforced?

In nineteen months, 13 miles have been built. Let’s just say they complete 1 mile of fence per month. At that rate it will take somewhere in the neighborhood of 700 months (58 years) to build that fence. Somewhere in the area of 3 football fields a day.

Time to call in Fence-R-Us.

No wonder the department does not have the ability to enforce the immigration laws.

It just does not want to.

Hey, Mr. Chertoff, you are the head of the department, start acting like you want something done, and you want it done NOW.

Spectacular Terror for this summer…ABC

ABC news has come out with a report of a “secret” intelligence report saying that al-Qaeda has planned a spectacular attack on the US this summer, an official with access to the document told ABC News.

So, what are we the people supposed to do with this information?   What motivated the unidentified official official to break the rules of his oath to secrecy by releasing the secret document to ABC?   What motivates ABC to release to the public information gained by illegal means?   If the informed unidentified official had access to the secret document about a secret spectacular terror event planned by a secret al-Qaeda cell working within the US, why inform ABC?

ABC News is in the business of spectacular news reporting. ABC is in the business of ratings watching. That’s all folks. If it builds the readership of ABC and/or the viewers of Brian Ross Investigative Reports and the rest of the broadcast team, it’s worthy of putting out there.

That’s all it’s about.

Do you think ABC is concerned about you? Do you think ABC is concerned about the security of the US citizens? Do you think this unidentified official is so very concerned about the American people that he broke his pledge to secrecy so that the people would know about this planned spectacular terror event, and we could then take preventive measures to insure our safety all during this summer.

What would those measures be anyway? What would we do differently that would insure our safety? Remain home? Stay away from downtown areas, the airports, the train stations, the subways, the ball parks, the malls, the schools, and on?   Would we be vigilant in informing the local authorities of suspicious activities we witness?   But we can’t profile, and the police can't profile, so if I see someone middle eastern looking doing something very strange indeed, I can’t turn him/her in to authorities unless I also turn in a hispanic, a black, a white and an asian.

It’s all about ABC.

Hindu prayer to open Senate.

Well, I guess you would call this diversity, or multi-culturalism, or tolerance,or stupid political correct none sense.

On Monday July 12, the opening prayer in the US Senate will be done by a Hindu priest, the first time in the history of the Senate that a prayer has been offered by a Hindu.  In 1992, a Muslim offered up an Islamic prayer, so it's not the first time someone other than a Jewish or Christian offered up the traditional prayer in our Senate.

"Rajan Zed, a Hindu chaplain from Nevada, on will become the first Hindu to deliver the morning prayer.  Zed called the occasion "an illustrious day for all Americans and a memorable day for us."

"While the prayer will draw from Hindu religious texts, Zed said it will be "universal in approach."

"Spokesmen for both Nevada senators - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Republican John Ensign, the most likely candidates to have recommended Zed for the guest chaplain position - did not respond to requests for comment Monday. Zed did not say which senator requested that he be invited as a guest chaplain."  CNS.

There's that name Harry Reid again.

Keith Ellison, a Muslim, was allowed to swear his oath of office, to defend the Constitution of the United States, on a copy of the Koran.   When will they install foot washing basins?   When will a buddha be carved out of granite and installed in the hallways?  When will they allow a Vican of the satanists to burn candles and project a curse?  This stuff cannot be too far away as the religion of  "diversity and multi-culturalism" hangs over the progressive liberal humanist democratic party.  We must all try to get along, you know.

Call your Senator.

Al-Qaeda is an evil mental disease of the worst kind.

Al-Qaeda, or al-qaida, or whatever you wish to call or spell the names of the radical faction of Islam is a dangerous evil mental disease. In other words plain and simple, these people are sickos.

I gotta be careful here. I’m not advocating that the Center for Disease Control, or the newest and the best of the psychiatric associations declare these symptoms as an official mental disease worthy of direct government benefits. But, you never know, there are folks out there who would take that as an invitation or an agenda. The peace at any price crowd. The code pinks. The Jane Fondas. The Rosie O’s. The Jimmy Carters’s. The Rosannes’s. The Reids and Pelosi of government waste.

It just makes me sick to think that so many in our country do not see, do not want to see, the inhumane brutality of al-Qaida, a faction, by the way of that ‘peaceful’ religion of Islam. It makes me sick that so many in our country do not understand, do not want to understand, our battle to protect our freedoms and liberty. And, it appears that they are like that just because of a political hatred for George Bush and that right-wing radical conservative base. Now that makes it even sicker.

In light of the just recent car bomb attempted killigs in Glasgow and London, what more can be said of al-Qaida, a radical group that desires to inflict torture through planned carefully selected targets for that act of terror inducement.

Our troops on the ground in Iraq witness the brutality every day. Our Senators in their offices witness the activism of peaceniks every day. Our troop commanders on the ground witness the horrendous inhumane acts of al-Qaida against their own people and children every day. Our representative in the hallowed halls witness the bundles of cash coming their way by appeasement groups every day.   We need a new reality show called trading places, Congress and the Troops.   Hey, that’s not a bad idea.   Just think, the halls of Congress would be cleaned up of all the corruption and al-Qaida would eliminate the feminist Congress.

Read Michael Yon and his newest dispatch. “Bless the Beasts and the Children.” It’s the story of a discovery of an Iraq village destroyed by al-Qaida, including the men, women and beheaded children, plus the cows, and livelihood of the villagers.   Utterly destroyed, everything.  and left some road bombs as they left.   Warning, the photos are graphic.

Facing up to a World War.

Can we now declare this a World War?  Is any community safe from "car bombs"?  Is there any Nation that is not directly affected by the aggressive killings and attempted killings by the radical Islamic fascists?   Anywhere?

So, can we get off our politically correct high horse and officially declare it a World War?  It's not just the Iraq war, it never has been, but that is where the focus has been.  Now, with the car bombing at the Glasgow Airport and the car bomb in Piccadilly, isolated incidents yes, but perpetrated by the same ideological group as is causing the civil problems in Iraq.   A car bombing can happen anywhere.  The US is not immune.  Australia is not immune.  Russia is not immune.  Sweden is certainly not immune, as they have seen an immense muslim immigration over the past decade, and with the muslims come an element of al-Qaida.  It's part of the jihad.

So, can we officially declare the war against Islamic fascism an official World War?  Sure, I can understand the governments desire to prevent panic amongst the people, but the people are not stupid.  The average citizen, and non citizen knows that there is a possible imminent terror threat everyday whenever they come near an airport, a large shopping mall, a popular nightclub and /or any place for that matter.   Disneyland?  A ball game?  Six flags?  A large Christian Church?   A school?  A public park?  The people are not stupid.  The thoughts, the imaginations run wild, and no amount of government pandering to peace and declaring that the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the CIA are doing everything in their power to catch these threats before they happen will give the people a real sense of peace.

We know that they are.  What we don't know is the extent of political correctness that is hindering them from doing that job.

We need to know that the politically correct line of non-offensiveness towards anyone based on race, religion or nationality is being dismissed immediately by these agencies and they will monitor the affairs of Islamic radicals, anywhere, at anytime with whatever means is available.   If anyone, any group, any mosque is connected in any way with a radical group of Islam then you should be suspect.   Period.

This is a world wide war against Islamic fascists.  It just needs to be officially declared as such.

Pride event for San Diego Padres

Yes, even Americas pasttime is not immune to the fun, the promotions, the relationships, the stick in your ear for an "abomination" mentality of the gay pride agenda to turn everything upside down, to reverse societies view of the traditional man-woman-child family that began with the beginning of time.  Disneyland/World has it's 'special' day of pride. Most large cities have their 'special' day of pride.  Now, it's a baseball game.  On Sunday July 8th, the Padres are offering a discounted ticket to attend the "pride" game in Petco park.

"Enjoy an evening of Padres baseball at a discounted price in the same section as fellow Pride supporters and volunteers.   San Diego Pride supporters and volunteers will be recognized for organizing the group event with a scoreboard welcome and the Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego will sing the National Anthem."
Pride night at Petco Park.

I don't think this is what "The Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field" means as friendly, as family friendly, as a fun place to take the kids.

The team said that the pride group just bought a large block of tickets, but then it will have a gay men's choir sing the National anthem, and have a large scoreborad announcement.   That's a special consideration.  That's endorsement plain and simple.   Will the umpires be crossdressed?

Read another commentary.

"....a team of concessions workers plans to walk off their jobs then, even though it will cost them hundreds of dollars in income, to protest the team's plans."

Negotiating with the Muslim Brotherhood.

I’ll blame this on the democratic control of the power of Congress that has put the pressure on the White House to facilitate the end of the Iraq war by a quick withdraw of troops.   But, it could also mean that President Bush is willing to try to negotiate with terrorists, a tactic the democrats have been pushing since 2003.   Anyway, a story is out about the Bush administration wanting to sit down at the table with the Muslim Brotherhood, an al-Qaida financial supporter.

“Officials said the State Department has approved a policy that would enable U.S. diplomats to meet and coordinate with Brotherhood leaders in Egypt, Iraq, Syria and other Arab states. They said the program would first be restricted to elected officials from the Brotherhood and eventually be extended to their political chiefs.

"The region is going Islam," an official said. "We see this in nearly every country in the Middle East. We either understand it and engage with it or find ourselves completely out of the picture."

Excerpts from the article follow.

The organization, founded in Egypt, spread through Saudi financing and has served as the inspiration for Al Qaida.

Many Arab countries have banned the Brotherhood.

Officials said the law enforcement community, particularly the FBI, opposes the proposal, concerned that this would facilitate Al Qaida plots to attack the United States. More….

The only time to negotiate with these fellows is when they are ready to say “uncle.” “Give me liberty or give me death” has been turned into “give me peace, you can have my liberty.”
